Begin a Relationship with Jesus
Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the first step in beginning a relationship with Him.
Our Need for Salvation
The Bible teaches that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) and that “the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
God’s Gift of Grace
Even while we were separated from God by sin, Christ showed His love for us by giving His life so we could be forgiven and restored (Romans 5:6–10).
How We Receive Salvation
Salvation comes through faith in Jesus. Scripture says, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9–10).
Our Response
When the people asked what they should do, Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized… and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:37–39). This promise is for all who turn to Christ and place their trust in Him.
