It is a privilege to serve the Lord here at Wheatland Christian Church. My heart is to faithfully teach God’s Word, shepherd people well, and help others grow in their relationship with Jesus. Ministry isn’t just what I do — it’s a calling I’m grateful to live out each day. 

I graduated from St. Louis Christian College in 1991 and began ministry in El Paso, Texas, later serving in Terre Haute, Indiana. In 2004, my wife Renee and I followed God’s leading to Wheatland Christian Church, where we continue to serve today.

We are blessed with two beautiful daughters who are attending Taylor University and pursuing ministry themselves. I also love creating and restoring things with my hands — a reflection of my belief that the God who created all things is faithfully restoring all things through Jesus Christ.

I am honored to serve as the Youth Pastor at Wheatland Christian Church. I grew up in Washington, Indiana, and attended Lincoln Christian University, where I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Preaching.

Before coming to Wheatland Christian Church in 2018, I served as Youth Pastor at First Christian Church in Sturgis, Kentucky. Those years helped shape my heart for student ministry and strengthened my calling to invest in the next generation.

I firmly believe that God has incredible plans for young people, and I am passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with them, encouraging them to grow in their faith, and equipping them to live boldly for Christ.

I also have a deep love for sports and enjoy finding ways to intertwine faith and athletics to build relationships and create meaningful ministry opportunities. As a lifelong fan of the Indiana Hoosiers, I enjoy attending games and cheering on the Hoosiers whenever I can.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve at Wheatland Christian Church and look forward to what God will continue to do in and through our students.

I have been working with kids at church for over 25 years! I have a heart to help kids lay a firm foundation in their knowledge and belief of God, our Heavenly Father, Jesus, God's only Son, our only way to salvation, and the Holy Spirit, our Counselor and our Guide through the life God has for each of us. I believe learning should be fun and informative.
