Ages 3 (potty-trained) through 5th grade
Children’s Church at Wheatland Christian Church teaches kids to trust God’s Word, understand His character, and live out their faith with confidence. Using the Answers in Genesis Whole Truth Curriculum, children learn the Bible as true history, discover God’s redemptive plan through Jesus, and are equipped to know what they believe and why they believe it all while applying God’s truth to everyday life.

What to Expect
Check-In
Check-in opens 15 minutes before service and is fast and easy! As your family arrives at guest check-in, our Leaders will be waiting to welcome you. Here you will complete a family registration card. For your child’s safety, and so we can provide the best service possible, please inform us if your child has any allergies, or if there’s anything you think we should know. Our team will also provide you a name tag for your child and a corresponding security tag to pick them up after service.
Your child’s name tag will show their classroom, which matches the sign on the door. A volunteer will greet your child when you arrive. Please let our team know of any special instructions that will help us care for your child. For safety, parents should walk their child to the classroom and ensure they are checked in with a volunteer.
When it’s time to pick up your child, return to their classroom and present your security tag to the volunteer at the door. The tag will be matched with your child’s name tag before release. Please be sure to gather all of your child’s belongings and pick up the family devotional so you can continue the conversation at home.
If you’ve misplaced your security tag, simply stop by Guest Check-In with a valid photo ID (such as a driver’s license), and a new tag will be printed for you. For safety reasons, children may only be picked up by adults age 18 or older.
